About Me.
Hi, I'm Kwame.
I love bringing my writing and media production skills to a wide range of creative projects. Recently, my growing passion for audio has led me to focus on multimedia creation and production, particularly in the arts.
With over a decade of experience in media, I have a solid background in project management and thrive both independently and in collaborative team settings to deliver the impactful results you're looking for.
I'm well-versed in content creation and strategy, email marketing, and web content development, and I’m excited to bring my expertise to your next project.

2024-Present
In 2024 I returned to freelance, with a new focus on multimedia projects.
I specialise in podcast editing and production, website content management, and comprehensive editorial services.
Whether you need polished podcast episodes that captivate listeners, expertly managed website content that engages and informs, or editorial support to refine and elevate your messaging, I bring a creative and strategic approach to every project.
I am currently producing The Future of Financial Crime Podcast.
2018-2023
In 2018, the Editor role was expanded to include the production and delivery of a bespoke podcast. I took on this additional responsibility, which includes all pre- and post-production activities, hosting and recording of the podcast content, production of all supporting media, and final publication and release. Since 2018, over 180 podcast episodes have been published (check them out here).
The role also included:
-
The production of daily news releases and a weekly newsletter centring on relevant professional issues. This included both investigative research and high-level written communication to produce quality resources on a tight timeline.
-
The end-to-end production of a monthly magazine. This process included planning and layout design as well as content production, interviews, curation and distribution.
-
General team support in producing and editing content, including marketing materials, press releases and other strategic communication. Collaboration with the marketing team when needed, including recording and delivery of public events such as the annual conference and online forums to leverage through a variety of social media channels
2015-2018
In my first Australian role I was brought onboard to manage the end-to-end production of the monthly GRC Professional Magazine. This included coordination of contributors, conducting interviews, writing articles and complete editing of each edition. In this role, I oversaw a team of two contractors to support the final production process.
I also managed the GRC Professional Online blog and news page, including writing and delivery of all content. This extended to collaboratation on the production of timely marketing campaigns and social media platforms, including the shooting, editing and production of social media videos.

Fresh Milk Barbados
2014-2015
During my time with Fresh Milk, I managed a vibrant social media presence for the focused Fresh Milk Books communications on Facebook and Twitter, engaging with a community of around 1,000 readers. My role involved writing book reviews, event discussions, and literary analyses, all aimed at highlighting the non-profit arts library, The Colleen Lewis Reading Room.
As part of the wider Fresh Milk Barbados team, I also contributed to social media management and content development, reaching an audience of nearly 100,000. I supported my colleagues by editing and refining reviews and articles, ensuring they were consistent and reader-friendly. Additionally, I cataloged donations of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry for the Reading Room, helping to maintain a diverse and enriching collection.
2012-2015
Entering the world of writing and freelancing, I chose to focus on arts and cultural spaces. As a freelance journalist, I was contracted to write feature pieces for various magazines and newspaper publications, bringing compelling stories to life for diverse audiences.
My work involved interviewing high-ranking cultural figures and capturing their insights to enrich my articles. I produced a wide range of content that delved into the vibrant world of creativity and expression.
